TIME TO STAND UP AND BE HEARD FOR THE UNBORN

Reading the recent allegations about Planned Parenthood has my blood boiling,    In reality it really shouldn’t.    Selling human tissue as a commodity is nothing more than those barbaric bastards have been doing since Row vs. Wade.    They profit off the souls of the confused and the murder of the innocent.    Human life and the souls of those who abort their children are nothing more than a commodity to those demons.   The vocation they have been part of makes Lucifer dance with joy!   So the revelations we have received this week shouldn’t really surprise anyone.    It didn’t me, but it did make me pissed as hell.

It is time that we all call on all our Senators and representatives to completely defund Planned Parenthood and actually defund all abortions funding from the Affordable Care Act.   With every tax dollar we send in, we are committing a sin that we will have to answer to God for.    People will say “what about all the women’s health issues” that Planned Parenthood takes care of (mammograms, pap smears, etc.)   The Affordable Care Act will provide these services for all women without the need of Planned Parenthood.   Contraception is also available through the Affordable Care Act.  Planned Parenthood is not necessary today.   Defund it and put those soulless ghouls out of work.

Now for my supposed Pro-Life friends…   We call ourselves Christians yet we stand in silence.  We stand in silence because we are afraid of what others will say.   We have allowed the Left to silence us because we are afraid of being called intolerant, fascist, and bigots.   Screw tolerance.   Our tolerance and silence have allowed millions of innocent boys and girls to be extinguished.    We have lost more Americans to abortions than Jews to the Holocaust.   We brought Hitler to his knees over the Holocaust yet we let the murder of the innocent go on and do nothing.    We stand by and say nothing.   Do you think God will allow you not to answer for your silence?  Your silence is as good as condoning the act.   We say we should never happen in Germany happen again.   Sorry folks it happens every day in the abortion mills of Planned Parenthood.   The only difference between the gas chambers of Germany and the abortion mills in America: the abortion mills have nicer waiting rooms.

People will say what about those who are raped or a woman’s health.   I haven’t met one pro-lifer who wouldn’t allow ending a pregnancy to save a woman’s life.   That only leaves the case of rape.    Abortions in the case of rape are a small percentage of all abortions.   If we pro-lifers conceded abortions due to rape, 99% of all babies that would have been aborted would live.  So let’s put that false argument out of the way.    The left will say whatever it takes to keep the mills running.    Now we know they sell the by products for extra profits.   I guess that makes them no better than the greedy capitalist the Left LOVES to criticize who put profits over people.   I guess abortions are ok since the babies can’t vote for democrats.

God calls us to come out of our complacency and to be daring for those who cannot speak for themselves.   We are obligated and commanded to love our neighbors.  This also goes for our neighbors who can’t speak for themselves.    I am challenging each of you who believe life begins at conception to stand up and be silent no longer.   Whether you are a prayer warrior or an activist, stand and be counted.   You either will stand to speak now, or you will have to answer at the judgment seat of God.

THE CRAZY LEFT!!!!

You know it always amazes me how we on the right are considered crazy, out of control, and out of the main stream.   A pro-life demonstration in Canada was peaceful until radical feminist felt the need to rip off their tops and attempt to infiltrate the rally.

Not quite sure how, but I guess ripping your top off and exposing your breast is an effective way to protest those who are attempting to protect human life.   I believe in free speech so more power to you.

The sad thing is what the gent in the picture for the video had to say.   Dude feels it is perfectly acceptable for a post birth abortion!   WHAT THE HECK!?!?!?   I couldn't believe my ears, but then figured there was room for him in the Obama administration where they feel it is "shameful" to prohibit abortion after 20 weeks.

Now look at a video of the pro-life protesters...  Quite a bit different:

 No tops coming off, no swear words, no radical hate speech, and nothing derogatory.  The only thing we see is people who support the unborn doing so respectfully and peaceably.   Whether you agree with their position or not, they are doing no harm to their position by their behavior.

So my friends on the left, if you want to be taken more seriously do so with your position and not by acting radically.   Your anger shows your heart and your message.

#What I Learned Today or Brush (wired bristled brush) with the Rich and Famous.

I will warn you now there are some things in this post not for the whole family….

In the course of work today, I was listening to the Morning Blaze on IHeart radio as I do most mornings.   It can be very funny and libertarian slanted, as I have become.   One if the topics today was Ashley Judd and her op-ed about the foul and disgusting tweets she received after she made some harsh criticism of the Arkansas Razorbacks style of play in the SEC tourney.   While she criticized the Razorbacks, she in no way deserved the backlash their fans gave her.    I would never justify what was said to her, but as we know if you are famous and put it on social media, you are going to take it on the chin by some people.

Ms. Judd’s op-ed was basically calling these guys out and making herself the next martyr for women’s rights against the sexist pig men...  Again the response to her initial comments about the Razorbacks was not warranted and really WAY out of line.   She later went on some news program to discuss her opinion piece and stated that she was pressing charges against these people who called her all sorts of lovely things and described in detail where they wanted to do with their daddy parts.   Doc and Skip, the host of the Morning Blaze, was going on about how over blown her response was.    I TOTALLY agree them on this. 

They close out the show with a segment call “What I learned today.”   This is where the host and staff of the show tell what they learned during the course of the show.     The overwhelming thing learned today was Ashley Judd’s twitter handle is @ashleyjudd.   So being the smart ass I am I tweeted:

The whole point was to let Ashley know that I thought she needed to get over herself.   While what was said about her on Twitter was awful, did it really have any consequences on her life?   After I tweeted it, I though no more about it…. Until this afternoon.

I was getting ready to leave work when my phone vibrated.   I looked to see what it was and someone responded to one of my tweets.    I looked at it and Ashley tweeted me back.   Not believing that it happened, I opened it up to find this:

“Well that escalated quickly” I thought to myself.   So I thought I would let Ms. Judd know my intent of my original tweet, so I responded.   Now remember you only have 130 characters so you can’t be too in depth.

 

Well that didn’t settle too well with Ms. Judd.   She basically told me I was the same as a rapist or a woman abuser:

 

I may not smarter than your typical Hollywood actor, but I think she called me as bad as a rapist.    Well that wasn’t enough for her; she had to get her last dig in:

Did she say I wasn’t a man too?!?!?!   I hate to tell Ashley, but it is really hard to tell what a person believes in 130 characters.   Disparaging a person’s character on Twitter is part of what her original op-ed was about wasn’t it?

After this Ms. Judd blocked me from Twitter and that was it… for her.   Others of her followers wanted to bash me proceeded to block me when I attempted to defend my position.   That’s a typical narrow minded person.

While I probably should have chosen not to address Ms. Judd in my original tweet, I do this with lots of famous people.    Whether it is giving famous people a S/O or dogging them, I reach out on Twitter all the time.   So when I put myself out there, I expect that I sometimes will take a hit or two.   As I told Ms. Judd, it is the nature of the beast.   When you are famous, as she is, you are a bigger target.    I am a little fat guy conservative libertarian from Cleves Ohio of course I am not going to take the heat she does.   She is a famous, liberal, movie star who tweets a lot.   She also says things that piss people off (I know the feeling Ashley).   You’re either ready to take the heat or get off social media.   This is what I was trying to express in my Tweet.

I think of the ungodly things that conservative women like Sarah Palin and Ann Coulter have to take on social media, in the media, and in blogs on a daily basis.   It is downright disgusting.   It is every bit as crappy as the stuff that Ashley Judd heard from the Razorback fans.  Do you hear them bitching, moaning, or writing op-eds about it?   Nope they generally ignore it.   They may make a smart ass comment about it and go on.   Again, this is what Ms. Judd should have done.

I am sorry women have to hear the crap they hear.   Misogyny should not happen today.   Neither should Christian bashing, gay bashing, race bashing, fat bashing, physical/mental challenged bashing, or any other bashing.  That being said, life isn’t fair.   You have two choices: 1) you can run, hide, and cry (I have done that), or you can have thicker skin and ignore them.   If you can’t have thick skin, GET OFF SOCIAL MEDIA!

What I learned today….   Me and Ms. Judd have a lot to work on.

In closing, my opinion about Ms. Judd hasn't changed.   I think is is a fantastic actress, amazingly beautiful, and a principled woman who is very dedicated for her causes.   I will not let this have any determining factor for me seeing her movies.   I also wish her nothing but happiness and joy in her life.   This is just another thing she and I will not see eye to eye on.

Truths and Lies...

I have been struggling a LOT lately with my perspective on things and people, and then I heard 2^nd Timothy chapter 3.   It was a light bulb moment for me.   

It seems the world has been upside down for me.   Today it seems what is wrong is right, and what is right is wrong.   Truths are now lies, and immorality is freely accepted and encouraged.   We have a “religiosity” but not a true faith and relationship with God.  I say true faith because why we say that we love God, we don’t feel the need to keep his laws.   People will rationalize away what are moral truths and look down on those who hold on to them.  

Reading this was great comfort to me, because we were told this is the way it was going to be.   It shouldn’t be a surprise or cause us stress.    We know and hold these truths, we also know the end game.

Lord:

Draw me nearer to you.  May your truths be evident in my heart.   Let me live like you would have me live.   When I fail at this, please make it abundantly clear to me so I ask forgiveness and can make a mends to those I have offended.   

When I see others not living your natural truths, please let me not judge them.  Rather remind me to pray for them.  Pray that they recognize their faults and that they turn to you.   Lord let me also show them love and kindness.   The kind of love you have shown me.

2 Timothy, chapter 3

1)      But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days.

Boy if this doesn't sound like the world today, I don’t know what does!

"You Shall Not Kill"

One of the mass readings today was taken from Ex 20:1-17.   They were the 10 commandments.    Most of us know what they are.   We have heard those hundreds of times and almost to a point where they almost fall on deaf ears.   Today was different for me.   While I heard them all one rang true and fell on my heart…  “You shall not kill.”  There is no ambiguity there.   No room for interpretation.   No guessing what God meant by that statement.   “YOU SHALL NOT KILL.” God was very clear about this.   Yet in this country we kill every day.    We have drug dealers killing drug dealers over turf.   We have men killing woman out of anger and/or jealous rages.   We have kids killing others due to whatever has twisted their minds.   We have taken this very plain, very simple, and very direct scripture and told God where he can shove it.   We have taken the sanctity of human life and thrown it out the window.

As a society if people kill, we say that we are going to apprehend the accused and bring them to justice.   If we capture them, we give them a trial.   If they are found guilty, we send them to jail.   Depending on the mitigating circumstances we let them back out after time is served to go about their way.  But we say that justice has been served and society has been made whole.   We do this all because killing is wrong.   It is an ill that has to be stomped out!   We cannot stand by and allow senseless murder to take place… yet we do it every day.   Not only do we allow it to occur with reckless abandon, we have even made it legal.  

 

Since Roe v. Wade over 57.6 million innocent souls have been terminated in the US due to abortion.   How does this compare to other tragedies in History:

• ·         9.6 times more babies killed due to abortion than people killed in Hitler’s concentration camps.
• ·         19,348 times more babies killed than innocent souls killed in the 9/11 attack.
• ·         48,937 times more babies killed than people killed at Pearl Harbor.
• ·         342,857 times more babies killed than people killed in the Oklahoma City Bombing

All of these events were tragedies.   All of them were avoidable losses of life.   All of these events were man made events that the American people demanded justice for.   Yet we allow multiple millions of children to be murdered every year in America’s hospitals, abortion mills, and Planned Parenthood clinics.   Very little outrage, very little protest, and very little even said about it anymore.   We have become conditioned in this country to say killing of innocent children is a woman’s acceptable choice.   Yet we didn’t stand by letting Hitler make a “choice” of who could live in his country.   No righteous indignation, no call for ending the practice, and no call for justice.  It has even become so bad that the Government even demands that abortifacients be made available in all health care plans no matter the religious beliefs of the business owners.

We as Americans have lost our spine.   We have lost our will to stand up for what is right.   We have become eunuchs who sit back and allow this tragedy to continue.    We do this because we cannot trample a woman’s “right” to reproductive health.    A farce and lie because an abortion is counter to a woman’s physical and mental health.   Yet we believe the lie and continue to allow this to happen.

I sit back no more.   I don’t keep my mouth shut any longer.   I will not stand against a decision that people make legitimately for a woman’s life, but I will stand against abortion on demand as a form of birth control.   No more will I stand silent in the shadows keeping my big mouth shut.   I run it about all sorts of things that are meaningless.   It is time that I stand up for what is right and let my voice be heard.   I am not sorry if it offends you.   I am not sorry because you shouldn’t be offended by truth.   You can argue back with me.   The unborn cannot stand up for themselves, so I will in my corner of the globe.    I challenge you who believe as I do to stand up and take up the cause of the unborn.

Mother Teresa said at the National Prayer Breakfast in February 1997 – “What is taking place in America is a war against the child. And if we accept that the mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another."

“You Shall not Kill.”  It is plain, simple, and true.  Not an option, not a choice, but a command.  

By the way… nearly 4,000 children were aborted worldwide during the time it took me to write this blog.

Rudy Giuliani takes on Radical Islam and the Administration’s Failure to deal with them.

 Finally a politician who has the guts to tell the truth about radical Islam.   The President and the administration continue to refuse to acknowledge the evil that we face.   They feel we can turn the hearts and mind of these animals if we provide them jobs and greater economic opportunities.  Take a look at what former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani has to say about these animals and the approach of this administration.

Again this has nothing to do with most of those who practice Islam.   Most want to worship Allah in peace and in love.   I do call those out who practice peaceful Islam and refuses to speak out against their radicalized brothers and sisters.   It is your obligation to stand up for what is right and to protect the innocent.

The Lies of the Pro-Abortion Crowd.

Well I know that I am going to piss people off with this post, but I believe in standing up for what is right.  I also believe in correcting lies when they are tossed out there...

I have seen several posts on social media and other outlets criticizing the recent actions of the US House of Representatives who voted to end all Federal funding of abortion, and those State's who have started actions to end abortion after the 20^th week.  The pro-abortion camp is stating that those of us support ending the practice of abortions is infringing on a woman’s reproductive health care.   All I can do is laugh at this argument.

When you terminate a life of a human being, how is that a “health care” or impacting a woman’s health in a positive manner.  The definition of health care is “the maintenance and improvement of physical and mental health, especially through the provision of medical services.”    Besides the obvious negative health impact on the child, there is study after study that shows the negative health impact (mental and physical) for women who use abortion as a form of birth control (http://afterabortion.org/2012/abortion-risks-abortion-complications-abortion-dangers-abortion-side-effects/, http://www.familyandlife.org/resources/faq/effects-abortion,  http://www.lifenews.com/2011/10/11/study-confirms-abortion-negatively-impacts-womens-health/).   Yet we allow the lie of this being a woman’s health issue to be promulgated.   Only a fringe few in the pro-life crowd would state that a woman’s should not have the right to terminate her pregnancy in the event of a health issue arises.   While a large portion of the pro-life crowd would also encourage a rape/incest victim to continue their pregnancy (and put the child up for adoption after the birth), but would not stand in her way if she chose to terminate the pregnancy.    If you hear the pro-abortion crowd they would have you believe that pro-lifers would outlaw all abortions.   This is a fallacy.   The fact the prolife crowd would be extremely happy if we would just end elective abortion that is used as a method of birth control.

Another fallacy that the pro-abortion crowd would have you believe is that pro-lifers would have a woman’s choices of artificial birth control eliminated.   Nothing could be further from the truth.   The majority of birth control; while not acceptable for personally use by some due to their own personal religious belief, is perfectly acceptable to be used and distributed.   Most of us believe it should be paid for by insurance (including the Affordable Care Act).   The sole exception to this is abortifacients.  This being said, the pro-abortion crowd would have you believe the otherwise.   Most of us freedom loving pro-lifers believe a person has the right to choose their means of preventing pregnancy. loving pro-lifers believe t   We think you have the right to choose. 

Most pro-lifers would only end the elective abortion used as a form of birth control.   Most of us would allow a woman have the choice to terminate the life of the child in the event of her health and in the event of rape/incest.   We also will not stand in your way of using artificial means of control when and if you have children.   Do not believe the lie of Planned Parenthood and other liberals.  We don’t want to end a woman’s right to choose, but we do want to protect a child’s right to live!

Why is Steve Job's Haunting My Thoughts?

“...because the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do." – Steve Jobs

I heard this Steve Job’s quote for the first time this week.   I thought it was great quote.   I even changed my signature tag on my work email to this quote.   My signature tag had been a quote from Henry Ford about not finding fault but finding a solution.   Needless to say, I didn't think Mr. Job’s quote was anything more than an inspirational quote.    Boy was I wrong.

I have had this quote infecting by brain since I have read it.   It is as if this was given to me for a reason, I have been obsessed with this quote!   I have no idea why, and this is not in my personality to get this obsessed with a quote (unless it is funny and will get a laugh).    I had to go and get the full quote and this is what Mr. Job’s said:

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes ... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. ... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things. ... They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."

When you read the whole quote in context it is even more powerful.  Because of how this is weighing on my mind, I am questioning if I am being told something.   Is there a message I am supposed to be gaining from this and I am just not getting it.   Am I being called to more than I am or is this just the musing of a middle aged man on the downward side of his existence attempting to find relevance again?   Am I becoming scared or even feeling irrelevant in my advancing years realizing that I have more days behind me than in front of me?   Is God telling me that you are on this Earth for a reason and you better get to it?  

I do not believe in randomness of things.   I believe God puts you where you need to be at the right time.   He places things in front of your eyes for you to see, take note of, and use.   Why did I see this random quote from Steve Jobs and why is it weighing on my mind so?   Not knowing sucks!   As most of you know I am not known for my patience, so this not knowing is killing me.   I will have to continue to pray about it.

Maybe God has something more for me?   Maybe this restlessness I am feeling lately is a desire to change the world, or at least my little part of it.   I do believe that a man who believes he can make a difference will.  I do believe God calls us out of our comfort zone to do his will.   I do believe that we are called to make an impact on our world.   I also believe we have to die to ourselves and put the needs of others in front of our own wishes.   God calls us to serve our fellow man.    In Matthew 25:40 he said “And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.”   I don’t feel the need to change the world by technological advances or making great wealth.   I do have a burden to serve my fellow man.    God has put a burden for others in my heart.  I hear this, and I wonder what a difference can I make?    Maybe I have this quote to help me believe that I can make a difference or change the world.

I don’t know why I have this quote stuck in my brain.   Maybe it is just the musings of a middle aged man on the back side of the mountain of his life who desires to be more relevant than he is today.   Or maybe God is telling me it is time to change the world, or at least my little part in it.   We have a finite number of days on this Earth and we are obligated to do what we are called to do.   I just hope I am open to find out what this message is!

The Nation at a Crossroads - The Imperial Presidency of Barack Obama

Tonight President Barack Obama is set to announce an executive order; if signed, would most definitely be grounds for his impeachment.   The President’s political allies and friends will say that I am throwing around that word too easily.   They will say that I am being sensationalistic, or that I am being a partisan.   Please let me firmly say that I am not!   What I am doing is standing up for the Constitution of the United States of America.  

What President Obama proposes doing is simply legislating from the Executive branch of government. The violates the separation of powers set forth in the US Constitution.   If you don’t believe me, the President himself believes this to be true.   Quotes from speeches that Mr. Obama has given will show his understanding of the actions that he is about to embark on:

•         “I take the Constitution very seriously. The biggest problems that we’re facing right now have to do with [the president] trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all. And that’s what I intend to reverse when I’m President of the United States of America.” (3/31/08)

•        “We’ve got a government designed by the Founders so that there’d be checks and balances. You don’t want a president who’s too powerful or a Congress that’s too powerful or a court that’s too powerful. Everybody’s got their own role. Congress’s job is to pass legislation. The president can veto it or he can sign it. … I believe in the Constitution and I will obey the Constitution of the United States. We're not going to use signing statements as a way of doing an end-run around Congress.” (5/19/08)

•        “So what we’ve tried to do is within the constraints of the laws on the books, we’ve tried to be as fair, humane, just as we can, recognizing, though, that the laws themselves need to be changed. … The most important thing for your viewers and listeners and readers to understand is that in order to change our laws, we’ve got to get it through the House of Representatives, which is currently controlled by Republicans, and we’ve got to get 60 votes in the Senate. … Administratively, we can't ignore the law. … I just have to continue to say this notion that somehow I can just change the laws unilaterally is just not true.  We are doing everything we can administratively.  But the fact of the matter is there are laws on the books that I have to enforce.  And I think there’s been a great disservice done to the cause of getting the DREAM Act passed and getting comprehensive immigration passed by perpetrating the notion that somehow, by myself, I can go and do these things.  It’s just not true. … We live in a democracy.  You have to pass bills through the legislature, and then I can sign it.  And if all the attention is focused away from the legislative process, then that is going to lead to a constant dead-end. We have to recognize how the system works, and then apply pressure to those places where votes can be gotten and, ultimately, we can get this thing solved.” (9/28/11)

•        “Now, what I’ve always said is, as the head of the executive branch, there’s a limit to what I can do. Part of the reason that deportations went up was Congress put a whole lot of money into it, and when you have a lot of resources and a lot more agents involved, then there are going to be higher numbers. What we’ve said is, let’s make sure that you’re not misdirecting those resources. But we’re still going to, ultimately, have to change the laws in order to avoid some of the heartbreaking stories that you see coming up occasionally. And that’s why this continues to be a top priority of mine. … And we will continue to make sure that how we enforce is done as fairly and justly as possible. But until we have a law in place that provides a pathway for legalization and/or citizenship for the folks in question, we’re going to continue to be bound by the law. … And so part of the challenge as President is constantly saying, ‘what authorities do I have?’” (9/20/12)

•        “I'm not a king. I am the head of the executive branch of government. I'm required to follow the law. And that's what we've done. But what I've also said is, let's make sure that we're applying the law in a way that takes into account people's humanity. That's the reason that we moved forward on deferred action. You know, my job as the head of the executive branch ultimately is to carry out the law.  And, you know, when it comes to enforcement of our immigration laws, we’ve got some discretion. We can prioritize what we do. But we can’t simply ignore the law. When it comes to the dreamers, we were able to identify that group and say, ‘These folks are generally not a risk. They’re not involved in crime. … And so let’s prioritize our enforcement resources.’ But to sort through all the possible cases of everybody who might have a sympathetic story to tell is very difficult to do. This is why we need comprehensive immigration reform. To make sure that once and for all, in a way that is, you know, ratified by Congress, we can say that there is a pathway to citizenship for people who are staying out of trouble, who are trying to do the right thing, who’ve put down roots here. … My job is to carry out the law. They give us an order that we’ve got to go out there and enforce the laws that are on the books.  … If this was an issue that I could do unilaterally I would have done it a long time ago. … The way our system works is Congress has to pass legislation. My job is to execute laws that are passed. And Congress right now has not changed what I consider to be a broken immigration system. I can do some things and have done some things that make a difference in the lives of people by determining how our enforcement should focus. … And we’ve been able to provide help through deferred action for young people …. •          “My job in the executive branch is supposed to be to carry out the laws that are passed. Congress has said ‘here is the law’ when it comes to those who are undocumented, and they've allocated a whole bunch of money for enforcement. And, what I have been able to do is to make a legal argument that I think is absolutely right, which is that given the resources that we have, we can't do everything that Congress has asked us to do. What we can do is then carve out the DREAM Act folks, saying young people who have basically grown up here are Americans that we should welcome. … But if we start broadening that, then essentially I would be ignoring the law in a way that I think would be very difficult to defend legally. •          “[I]f, in fact, I could solve all these problems without passing laws in Congress, then I would do so. But we’re also a nation of laws. That’s part of our tradition. And so the easy way out is to try to yell and pretend like I can do something by violating our laws. And what I’m proposing is the harder path, which is to use our democratic processes to achieve the same goal that you want to achieve. … It is not simply a matter of us just saying we’re going to violate the law. That’s not our tradition. The great thing about this country is we have this wonderful process of democracy, and sometimes it is messy, and sometimes it is hard, but ultimately, justice and truth win out.” (11/25/13)

•            “I am the Champion-in-Chief of comprehensive immigration reform. But what I’ve said in the past remains true, which is until Congress passes a new law, then I am constrained in terms of what I am able to do. What I’ve done is to use my prosecutorial discretion, because you can’t enforce the laws across the board for 11 or 12 million people, there aren’t the resources there.  What we’ve said is focus on folks who are engaged in criminal activity, focus on people who are engaged in gang activity. Do not focus on young people, who we’re calling DREAMers …. That already stretched my administrative capacity very far. But I was confident that that was the right thing to do. But at a certain point the reason that these deportations are taking place is, Congress said, ‘you have to enforce these laws.’ They fund the hiring of officials at the department that’s charged with enforcing.  And I cannot ignore those laws any more than I could ignore, you know, any of the other laws that are on the books. That’s why it’s so important for us to get comprehensive immigration reform done this year.” (3/6/14)

•          “I think that I never have a green light [to push the limits of executive power].  I’m bound by the Constitution; I’m bound by separation of powers.  There are some things we can’t do. Congress has the power of the purse, for example. … Congress has to pass a budget and authorize spending. So I don’t have a green light. … My preference in all these instances is to work with Congress, because not only can Congress do more, but it’s going to be longer-lasting.” (8/6/14)

These are not my words, but those of the President himself.    The most damning case against what he is doing has been made by the President.   He is about to take a leap from President to Emperor.  He is spitting on the oath of office he gave twice and wiping his butt on the Constitution of the United States.

 While I agree that immigration reform must happen.  Matter of fact a lot of the reforms reported to be made by executive order, I agree with.   I also agree that Congress has sat back in stalemate not doing a damn thing to fix the problem of immigration.   This doesn’t allow him to supersedes the powers bestowed upon his office by the Constitution.

My son this week was in Philadelphia visiting Independence Hall.   I saw a picture from the trip and told my friend that if I entered those hallowed halls I would probably break down in tears.   The tears would be because of the emotion from being in the birth place of freedom, and the nation of laws.  A nation where man’s destiny is self determined.   As I see it we stand at a crossroad.   We continue to be a nation driven by the rule of law or we become a dictatorship ruled by despot.   It is time for Congress to take a stand.   Political fallout be damned.  It is time we stand up and be a people of principal and law or defecate on the graves of our founders.
